這是一款由KMPlayer的原作者在跳槽到Daum公司後使用C++完全重寫的播放器。它基本上繼承了KMPlayer 方便的濾鏡以及外掛式的管理系統。同時簡化了內部的解碼器體系。

PotPlayer是一套集眾多編碼程式(Codec)的影音播放軟體，不必轉碼程式就能觀看所有特殊格式的影片了。有著播放DVD與VCD、匯入多種格式的外掛字幕檔、支援效果調整選項等，功能十分完整！PotPlayer與KMPlayer同屬一個開發者的產品，所以PotPlayer擁有KMPlayer的硬體加速、支援高畫質影片播放、介面整潔、操作簡單、使用輕鬆、面板豐富多彩等特點，能夠滿足不同用戶的使用需求。
 
 
 
Changes in Daum PotPlayer 1.6.47922 Beta:
* Added options to store captured/recorded image/video/audio files into play folders if available (F5 > Folder Settings)
* Some changes in right-click menu (Video > Video Capture, Video Recording)
* Added options to show/hide selections of Apple QuickTime/RealNetworks decoders (F5 > Filter Control > Hardware Acceleration)
*Read here for details.So it might work on an 3D-capable display with stereo 3D option of Win8 is enabled.
