從舊約轉向神新約的經綸

「他們聽說，你教訓一切在外邦的猶太人背棄摩西，對他們說，不要給孩子行割禮，也不要遵行規例。」(徒21:20)

And they have been informed concerning you that you are teaching all the Jews throughout the nations apostasy from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children, nor to walk according to the customs.(Act.21:20)

不行割禮，不照著死的字句規例，乃是照著神新約的經綸。保羅說他向律法死了，意即在律法下的義務，就是與律法的關係已經了結。這樣既不是背道，也不是異端，乃是實行神新約經綸的真理。
