Micro fishing the Everglades

Spent an afternoon microfishing the Tamiami Trail Canal in the Everglades. While the start was rather disappointing with a bunch of eastern mosquitofish showing up, the species variety improved as the day went on. In total six different species ended up falling for my small piece of redworm on a tanago hook. A bluespotted sunfish was probably the most beautiful of day with African jewel cichlids coming in a close second. A redear sunfish, warmouth sunfish, and golden silverside rounded out the day.
花了一個下午的時間在大沼澤地的 Tamiami Trail 運河上進行微釣。雖然開始時出現了一群東部蚊魚(我們台灣叫大肚魚;食蚊魚)，但令人相當失望，但隨著時間的推移，物種多樣性有所改善。總共有六個不同的物種最終落入了我在 tanago 鉤(牛屎鯽魚鉤)上的小紅蟲。藍斑翻車魚可能是一天中最美麗的一天，緊隨其後的是非洲寶石慈鯛。紅葉翻車魚、戰口翻車魚和金色的銀魚為這一天畫上了圓滿的句號。
