葡萄牙共和國    PORTUGAL


葡萄牙共和國是歐洲伊比利亞半島上的一個國家，其國際代碼為PT。


其西部和南部瀕臨大西洋，北部和東部與西班牙相接；

首都 里斯本 Lisbon  以西的羅卡角是歐洲大陸的最西端。

首都 里斯本 Lisbon 是  葡萄牙最大的城市，人口為547631內  其行政限制的土地面積為84.8平方公里（33平方哩）。


除了歐洲大陸的本土之外，大西洋的亞速群島和馬德拉群島也是葡萄牙的領土。

澳門在1999年主權移交前（1553年至1999年），曾由葡萄牙統治。

葡萄牙位於歐洲大陸的西南盡頭，東面與北面與唯一的鄰國西班牙接壤，西面則是大西洋，故一直以來不少人特意走到葡萄牙西岸，欣賞臨近大西洋壯觀的景色。

在地中海區域，葡萄牙屬於邊緣國家，但是在大西洋區域，葡萄牙則是前線國家。
