美國殿堂級重金屬樂團，1981年10月28日成立於美國加州洛杉磯。起源是鼓手拉爾斯·烏爾里希在當地報紙刊登招募成員的廣告，前去應徵的是主唱兼吉他手詹姆斯·海特菲爾德。金屬製品目前的陣容共計四人，包括兩位創始成員詹姆斯和拉爾斯、長期吉他手柯克·哈米特，以及貝斯手羅伯特·特魯希略。
