「Viktor Lazlo 維克多·拉茲洛」. 初聽這個名字或許會覺得有點陌生. 但只要提起「齊豫」曾經唱紅的英文歌曲 " Stories " ( 故事 ) . 相信大家馬上就能記起這首旋律優美的曲子，「Viktor Lazlo」正是這首歌曲的原唱. 《Stories》這首歌描寫的是一位姑娘決定結束自己生命之前對童年和初戀的緬懷，大段自言自語似的獨白，帶著北美印第安人音樂味道的旋律給人一種淒美的感覺。齊豫、張國榮也翻唱過。


1985 年，原名叫「Sonia Dronier」的比利時籍的法語歌手「Viktor Lazlo」推出了法、英雙聲帶專輯《 She 》，以充滿浪漫爵士風味的歌曲風格勇闖歌壇，評價不錯，其中一首收錄英、法 2 版的 " Stories " （法文版為 " Canoe Rose "），引起樂評人「吳正忠」的注意，不久後，飽聽各類西洋音樂的他，應邀為「齊豫」籌備中的首張英文專輯選歌，他立刻挑中此首半說半唱的難度超高歌曲給「齊豫」，正合「齊豫」胃口，毫不猶豫便決定演唱。1987 年，「齊豫」的英文專輯《 Stories 故事 》發行，專輯改寫了台灣歌迷對英文專輯的印象，不僅在台大賣，更一路紅到香港、東南亞，創造了華語歌手的英文傳奇。
