神的救恩是為著建造。

「像纔生的嬰孩一樣，切慕那純淨的話奶，叫你們靠此長大，以致得救；......也就像活石，被建造成為屬靈的殿，成為聖別的祭司體系，藉著耶穌基督獻上神所悅納的屬靈祭物。」(彼前二2，5)

As newborn babes, long for the guileless milk of the word in order that by it you may grow unto salvation,...You yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house into a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.(1Pet. 2:2,5)

我們都該像纔生的嬰孩一樣，切慕那純淨的話奶；靠著神話語中滋養的奶，我們能長大以致得救。這裡的「得救」不是指蒙救贖從靈裡重生，乃是指下一個階段：魂生命的變化（建造）。長大乃是為著建造。
