Westlife ( 西城男城 ) --- Seasons In The Sun ( 陽光下的季節 ) . 1999年發行



這首歌曲原本是比利時歌手 Jacques Brel ( 傑克斯布瑞爾 ) 於1961年創作的法文歌 Le Moribond （臨終者）. 歌曲的內容大致描述一個罹患癌症、不久於人世的男子. 在面臨死亡的時候. 對父親、妻子以及摯友的依依難捨. 之後被其私交相當不錯的美國詩人歌手Rod McKuen ( 洛德麥昆 ) 翻成英文歌曲船入美國. 原本是由當時十分走紅的Beach Boys ( 海灘少年合唱團 ) 灌錄成單曲. 但錄完卻因製作人認為曲名不吉利原因. 決定不發行. 之後在1973年由加拿大歌手 Terry Jacks ( 泰瑞傑克斯 ) 演唱而成經典暢銷歌曲. 在1974年的三月二日獲得全美排行三週冠軍. 當年國內柯達軟片也使用這首歌作為廣告配樂. 溫情的廣告訴求配合上這首 ” 有故事的歌 ” 溫暖的旋律. 讓產品和歌曲相得益彰. 在電視密集強力曝光後. 這首「Seasons in the Sun 陽光下的季節」也成了當年最熱門的電視廣告曲之一. 1999年當紅的愛爾蘭偶像團體 Westlife 「西城男孩」重新翻唱. 讓這首經典老歌又再度風靡西洋樂壇
